The right gate depends on what’s coming through it and how much room you have around it. These are all J & W installs.
Double Swing Driveway Gates
Best for: Residential driveways and farm entrances.
Two gates meet in the middle, so each half is shorter and lighter than one wide gate. That makes them easier to open and less likely to sag. They need clear room to swing on one side of the opening.
Sliding Gates
Best for: Commercial entrances and driveways with no room to swing.
A sliding gate rolls sideways along the fence line. It works on a slope, where a swing gate would hit the ground, and anywhere parked cars or a road leave no swing room. It does need clear space beside the opening.
Arched Ornamental Metal Gates
Best for: Estate driveways and front entrances where looks matter.
Black metal gates with an arched top and decorative trim, set between matching fence panels. They frame the entrance to a property and still let you see the house from the road.
Decorative Panel Gates
Best for: Rural properties that want a gate with character.

Gates That Match Your Fence
A gate should look like part of the fence, not an add-on. We install chain link gates to match chain link, metal-framed wood gates to match wood privacy fences, and ornamental gates to match metal fencing. A metal frame behind a wood gate keeps it from sagging the way an all-wood gate can.
Swing or Slide?
A swing gate is simpler and costs less, but it needs clear, fairly level ground where it opens. A sliding gate costs more, but it works on slopes, next to parked cars, and on entrances that open straight onto a road.

Should I Choose a Swing Gate or a Sliding Gate?
Choose a swing gate if the ground is level and there’s room for it to open. Choose a sliding gate if the driveway slopes, the gate opens toward a road, or cars park where the gate would swing.
How Wide Should a Driveway Gate Be?
Wide enough for the largest vehicle you’ll bring through, with room to spare for turning. Trucks, trailers, and farm equipment need more room than a car. We’ll measure your entrance and help you size it.
